Vera Pauline Milstead

Vera Pauline Milstead, 90,of Jackson, passed away on September 22, 2024, at Jackson Healthcare with her family by her side. She was born on August 21, 1934, to parents Joseph and Mattie Beverly. Vera grew up in West Mobile then moved to Coffeeville and later to Jackson. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she worked at Vanity Fair, but her true love was staying at home taking care of her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, siblings Eulene, Cecil, Ina, Leonard, Grace, Fay, Claude, and Clyde, grand-daughter Chelsea Milstead Larimore.

Survived by her sons Ricky (Charolene) Milstead, David (Leigh) Milstead, grandchildren; Lindsey (Jon) Lear, Mark (Candace) Milstead, John (Roxanne) Milstead, great grandchildren; Lawson Milstead, John Gillis Milstead, Molly Milstead, Harper Lear and Haven Larrimore.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Bro. Jimmy Butts officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
