Vivian C. Goldman, 85, of Millry, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Washington County Nursing Home. She was born March 21, 1934 to Norman Carpenter and Ella Carney Dixon. A self-employed beautician, she was also an active member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. A caretaker by nature, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her other interests included fishing and shopping, especially flea markets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Henry Goldman, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Brinley Leigh Nichols and siblings, Alfred Carpenter, L.J. Carpenter, Eugene Carpenter, Vernice Carpenter and K.C. Carney.
She is survived by her children, James Henry “Jimmy” (Debbie) Goldman, Jr., Darrel H. (Brenda) Goldman, Vickie (Dewayne) Nichols; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hunter (Andy) Rucker, Kevin Haven (Lisa) Goldman, Jamie Heather (Trevor) Mendelson, Kendall Hayden Goldman, Michael Heath Goldman, Merritt Henry (Mandy) Nichols, Aaron Holden Nichols; great-grandchildren, Haylie Rucker, Drew Rucker, Grayson Mendelson, Ainsley Mendelson, Jason Jones, Zack Jones, Bexley Nichols, Anistyn Goldman, Holden Nichols; siblings, twin sister, Voncille Hoffman, Tracy (Tammy) Carpenter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Spring Hill Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Carpenter officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Goldman, Kendall Goldman, Michael Goldman, Merritt Nichols, Aaron Nichols and Drew Rucker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Rucker, Trevor Mendelson, Grayson Mendelson, Jason Jones, Zack Jones, Joe Goldman and Bobby Carpenter.
