Voncille Sealy Turner, 92, of Whatley, passed away on September 5, 2022. She was born on May 16, 1930 to parents Claude Amos and Addie Mae Truell Sealey. Voncille worked at Vanity Fair as a seamstress, later retiring. She loved quilting, gardening, gospel singing, and cooking, many of her friends and family always patiently waited for the treats she had made them.
Preceded in death by her husband James Edwin 'Monk' Turner, brothers Earnest Sealy, Leonard Sealey, and Lomax Sealey.
Survived by her children Judy Hutchinson, Mary (Bucky) Dailey, and James Odie (Donna) Turner, 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and many other extended family and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Hutchinson, Tracy Hutchinson, Damian Hutchinson, Dayln Hutchinson, James Estes, and Joshua Turner.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Bro. Russell Wright officiating.
