Wallace J. "Red" Armstrong, 84, died Wednesday, May 4, 2022. He was born November 3, 1937 in Millry to the late J.B. and Maybelle McMillian Armstrong and was a member of Millry Baptist Church. Red enjoyed car racing, especially NASCAR and drag racing.
Red is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anne "Bessie" Armstrong; daughter, Sheri Litchfield; grandchildren, Larry James, Jr., Amanda Tew and Jeremy Hennis; great grandchild, Legend Turner; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Knighten.
