She enjoyed her large circle of loving friends that gathered often to play “hand and foot.” She embraced life with humor and honesty and love of God, family, and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Burl Vickery Quimby; children, Larry Burl Quimby (Margaret), Keith Payne Quimby (Kim), Susan Quimby Ukleja (Robert); grandchildren, Laura Hanks (Nathan), Alicia Williams (Shaun with Elizabeth), Randi Quimby (Phillip Morris), Maggie Blevins (Russell with Sadie and Corie Cate); honorary grandchildren, Ashli Page and Lindsey Kirkland; brother, Wendall Payne (Mary); numerous nieces and nephews and her excellent caregivers, Dianna Davis, Mary Jackson, Sandris Jackson, Raven Knight, and Evelyn McIlwain.
