Wilford Watson

Wilford Cameron Watson, 80, of Jackson, passed away April 22, 2018 at his residence in the Gainestown Community. He was born January 28, 1938 to Willie Frank Watson Sr. and Ruby Anna Nabb Watson. After completing service in the U.S. Air Force, he was employed as an electronics technician with GE and Motorola. An avid woodworker and farmer, he also enjoyed model radio control airplanes and sailboats.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine Vandiver Watson and siblings, Willie Frank Watson, Jr., Pamelia Watson McKnight and Agnes Watson Sellers.
He is survived by his son, Clifford Justin (Vanessa) Watson and sister, Anna (Joseph) Beverly.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Gainestown United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Gaillard officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
