William Floyd "Tripp" Carter, III, 24, of Grove Hill died July 24, 2018. Tripp was born May 24, 1994 in Jackson to William "Bo" and Ann Carter, Jr. He was a member of Thomasville Church of God. An avid gamer, he was one of the most genuine people you would ever meet and had a smile that lit up the room. He had always loved children, especially his nieces, but nothing could compare to the love he had for his son, Liam, who was the center of his universe. Tripp loved with his whole heart and will be loved and missed more than words can express.
Tripp is survived by his parents; son, Liam Carter; sister, Courtney (Chris) Weaver; brother, Hunter Carter; nieces, Chloe Weaver and Kinley Weaver; grandparents, Earl G and Mary Mills, Sr and Bro. Al and Jeraline Dykeman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Floyd Carter, Sr.
Services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery, Salitpa. Condolences may be left at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.
Pallbearers will be Rob Broadus, Jeremy Wiggins, Daniel Greer, Earl Mills, Jr., Bubba Weaver, Chris Weaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Davis, Steven Farley, Brian Fleming, Kyle Dumas, and the Clarke County High School Class of 2012.
