Willie Reynolds

Willie Lee Reynolds, 85, of Chatom, passed away February 3, 2022 in Chatom, AL. She was born March 11, 1936, her parents were Mrs. Dixie Lee Hicks and Bill Garland. Mrs. Willie married the Rev. Wilson Reynolds and was a lifelong member of Reynolds Holiness Church, she loved her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with her grandchildren. She was proud of her family and enjoyed being able to stay at home and take care of them, one of her favorite hobbies was sewing. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Rev. Wilson Reynolds, daughter, Bobbie Boyette, and son, Floyd Wayne Reynolds. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her children, daughter, Denise (Jonathan) Gray, son, Carl Reynolds. Sisters, Jane Carpenter, Levon Summers, and brother, John Hare. Grandchildren, Angel (Chris) Richardson, Heather Garrett, Waylon (Lacy) Pace, Crystal (Haywood) Hinote, Justin (Brandie) Pace, Nicholas (Autumn) Reynolds, Janna Reynolds, Jacob (Micheala) Reynolds, Jarred Reynolds. 26 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Also many nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and loving friends. Pallbearers will be Waylon Pace, Justin Pace, Nicholas Reynolds, Jacob Reynolds, Jarred Reynolds, and Jason Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Boyette, Haywood Hinote, and Faye Lamberth. Visitation will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 5-8pm at Reynolds Holiness Church. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2pm with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Rev. Troy Bailey will be officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
